Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

This policy explains how [legal name not set] ("WisdomCrate", "we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you visit wisdomcrate.in or buy from us. We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. What we collect

  • Checkout details: your name, email address and mobile number.
  • Order details: what you bought, the amount, order and payment reference numbers, the payment method type and whether the payment succeeded. We never receive your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password.
  • Messages: anything you send us when you contact support.
  • Technical and usage data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the website that referred you, and details of the advertisement you clicked, such as campaign codes in the link and Meta advertising cookies.
  • Download records: when your files were downloaded and from which IP address.

2. How we use it

  • To take your payment and deliver your products, and to send your order confirmation, download links and receipts.
  • To answer your questions and handle complaints and refunds.
  • To prevent fraud, misuse of download links and unauthorised sharing of our products.
  • To measure and improve our advertising. We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to tell Meta Platforms when someone views a page, starts checkout or completes a purchase. This can include your email address and phone number in hashed form, your IP address, browser details and the purchase value. Meta uses this to measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested.
  • To send you news about our products, but only if you have agreed to it. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records and responding to lawful requests.

We process your data with your consent, which you give when you place an order or sign up for emails, and for other uses the law permits, such as completing a purchase you asked for and meeting legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

  • Razorpay, to process payments and refunds.
  • Our email delivery provider, to send order and download emails.
  • Our hosting and cloud storage providers, which run the website and store product files and records.
  • Meta Platforms, for advertising measurement as described above.
  • Our accountant or other professional advisers, where needed.
  • Government or law enforcement authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers may store or process data outside India, in countries where Indian law allows such transfers.

4. How long we keep it

  • Order and payment records: for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require.
  • Download records and technical logs: up to 12 months.
  • Support messages: up to 3 years after your last message.
  • Email preferences: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

After that, we delete the data or make sure it can no longer identify you.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update your data;
  • erase your data, unless we have to keep it by law;
  • stop using your data where we rely on your consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before;
  • let someone else exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to do so.

Email [email protected] to make a request. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep checkout working and to protect forms from abuse. We also use Meta advertising cookies to measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but checkout may not work without the essential ones.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections, restrict access to customer data, and use download links that expire. Card, UPI and bank details are handled only by our payment partner. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

8. Children

Our products are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to buy for you.

9. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
